Temporary CER (tCER)
A tCER is a temporary CER issued for an afforestation or reforestation CDM project. They expire at the end of the commitment period following the one in which they were issued. As a result of this, they must be replaced at this stage at the latest. tCERs can’t be used for the EU emissions trading scheme.
