Gold Standard (GS) / Gold Standard Verified Emission Reductions (GS VER)

Standard for Verified Emission Reductions (VER). These certificates are created based on the regulations of the Gold Standard Foundation, which was founded in 2002 by 40 NGOs (WWF, SouthSouthNorth and others). Information on project development and verification, as well as transfer and retirement of certificates, is publicly available, which enhances transparency, quality and safety.
